Backup before it's too late

It never ceases to amaze me that no matter how often I talk about this subject there are still people out there who refuse to take action to my call. This call can save you time, frustration and heartache in the future. This call is not hard to complete or expensive. I just believe that most people do not see the importance of fulfilling this call until they have lost everything and I get a call from them stating: "My computer won’t turn on, can you come quick. I have everything on there." When I ask them if they have backup copies, they often say "No." I recently had a computer come to me from a doctor who was in the midst of writing a book. They had lost the entire book, talk about heart break. One year of hard work down the toilet because they had failed to take the precaution of backing up their data. Just think of all the data you could lose during your next hard drive failure: family pictures, financial data, email and your documents. Backing up your data is easy and not expensive. There are very many different ways to save your data, whether you burn CD's, use an external USB hard drive or an online backup service, pick one and keep your data safe. Don't be that next call I get with a story of heart break.
